The recent "handing over" of UMNO's Presidency from Pak Lah to Najib merely confirms my strong suspicion that certain elements of the Malay/UMNO ruling class wants a return to the aristocracy days.

Lone STRIVER is totally against the creation of poltical dynasty(IES) in Malaysia as it is another form of feudalism...as if having several royalty (with all due respect to them & the Monarchy)is not enough.

After all, can anyone point out a politician's son/daughter which is better than his father/mother.
Only Ministers, Menteri Besar/Chief Minister please.....OK, OK! DPM & Deputy Ministers included!



I've yet to come across anybody arguing that the following are better than their dad. UMNO's Feudal 7:-

2) Hishamuddin ( Tun Hussein ).... don't think his Dad or GrandPa will ever apologise for brandishing a Keris! He might as well apologise for wearing Songkok & Baju Melayu or, to Johoreans for being Anak Johor.

3) Syed Hamid ( Syed Jaafar)...father opposed Singapore secession..walked out of Parliament,
son lost Pedra Branca...and son was a lawyer..pergghhh!

4) Tajol Rosli ( M.Ghazali Jawi )......too dour or, humdrum.

5) M.Radzi ( Shekh Ahmad )

6) Mukhriz ( Tun Mahathir).............can Mukhriz even be Quarter of a man his dad was????

7) Nur Jazlan.......( M.Rahmat )..................there's still some hope!

Pak Lah's announcement on Eurocopter securing the tender yesterday confirms it. People who are saying Pak lah is sleeping is WRONG...he's sprinting now!

Peg the RM against GOLD or, CREATE MALAYSIA GOLD DINAR

Problems faced in the world financial market would not have arisen if USA had not opted out of the Bretton Woods standard.

I urge Bank Negara, Ministry of Finance and others to peg the RM against GOLD or, create the Malaysian Dinar(to be backed by GOLD).

The USD is virtually a worthless currency financed by the World. Why should we finance the American's lifestyle and their ability to wage war against anybody at random.

The creation of a Malaysian Dinar will ensure that the Dinar will become a currency of choice and strength. In addition, Malaysia will be able to wrest the financial leadership of ASEAN which we surrendered to Singapore during the financial turmoil of 1997/98 when capital/currency controls were imposed. After all the Singapore Dollar is also pegged against the USD.

PS: L.Striver 1st met DSAI in 1987 after Prime Minister Trophy Debate Final's at Pusat Islam,KL. Managed to take a photo with him. He was then the Education Minister.

Last meeting was at his Bukit Damansara house in 1998...Reformasi Days.
