Peg the RM against GOLD or, CREATE MALAYSIA GOLD DINAR
Problems faced in the world financial market would not have arisen if USA had not opted out of the Bretton Woods standard.
I urge Bank Negara, Ministry of Finance and others to peg the RM against GOLD or, create the Malaysian Dinar(to be backed by GOLD).
The USD is virtually a worthless currency financed by the World. Why should we finance the American's lifestyle and their ability to wage war against anybody at random.
The creation of a Malaysian Dinar will ensure that the Dinar will become a currency of choice and strength. In addition, Malaysia will be able to wrest the financial leadership of ASEAN which we surrendered to Singapore during the financial turmoil of 1997/98 when capital/currency controls were imposed. After all the Singapore Dollar is also pegged against the USD.

"DOG FOOD" for T.KOK, WHOLE MEAL for ME!!!
2Eggs, Cucumber & Some Kuah = "DOG FOOD"!
I guess the arrogance and power 'drunkeness'+perks of office have crept in!
PS: L.Striver Still remembers when times were bad and we were struggling to make ends meet(water&electricity to our house have been cut)....having biscuits with water is considered a meal while having NASI PUTIH with Telur+KICAP is considered a FEAST. Stuffs like this defines our character...I guess DOG FOOD was Teresa's first character test!

PS: L.Striver 1st met DSAI in 1987 after Prime Minister Trophy Debate Final's at Pusat Islam,KL. Managed to take a photo with him. He was then the Education Minister.
Last meeting was at his Bukit Damansara house in 1998...Reformasi Days.
....correction, last meeting was yesterday night when I was on the way back to my car and he was in his car...windows opened & bodyguards protecting him. DSAI was shaking hands with people on the roadside as his vehicle inches slowly away.

ZICO!!! ZEROOOO to HERO and back to ZORRO???
Just received SMS from my wife that ZICO tendered his resignation over the ISA fiasco.
If its true, he just went up a few notches in my eyes after his charity revelation, apology to sacked judges and now this. I supposed after you've made your millions its easier to become principled.
PS: 1st met ZICO way back when I was an MC for a Law Dinner at Sheraton Subang and had to introduce him as a Speaker. He was then President of the Muslim Lawyers Association. My wife had just organised a function to brief him of his functions....I supposed her C.Affairs department would have to organise another one soon!
